We get this question more often than you might think!

And the answer is…

Nope.

In fact, we haven’t sold Blue & Gold Sausage in about 10 years.

But somehow, this question has survived longer than some medications stay on the market.

We honestly love that so many people still remember coming by Jones Drug to pick it up. Apparently, we made quite the impression during our sausage era.

Every so often, someone will walk in, look around, and ask with complete confidence:

“Where’s the Blue & Gold?”

And we have to break the news all over again.

So, for anyone wondering, Blue & Gold Sausage is still available — just not here. You can usually get it directly from the Blue & Gold plant or through local school fundraisers.

And honestly, if a kid shows up selling Blue & Gold for a fundraiser, buy some. You get sausage, they raise money, everybody wins.

As for Jones Drug, we’ve moved on from the sausage business.

These days, we’re a little more focused on things like prescriptions, compounding, vitamins, vaccines, medication questions, and trying to convince insurance companies that, yes, your doctor really did mean to prescribe that medication.

So here’s your official Jones Drug checklist:

Prescriptions? Yes.
Compounding? Yes.
Vitamins and supplements? Yes.
Friendly pharmacy advice? Always.
Blue & Gold Sausage? Still no.

But please keep asking.

At this point, it’s basically a Jones Drug tradition.

And who knows — if we’re still getting this question in another 10 years, we may have to make a commemorative sign:
